A Change

A bit back in blogged about people and how they change... Today I wish to address the common question "why do people have to change into something bad?"

In short the answer is: because they make bad choices and they are then to proud to correct themselves. The sad thing is they will seek gratification and approval through other sources which will help them feel good. This will last for a short period of time until they either suffer from a consequence or end up in a gutter to finally realize they need help...

My Bad

Ok so I haven't blogged for like forever – yeah I know slack but I have been busy with uni and getting back on track and that for some reason gives me writers block haha - I'm sure it won't be long and I be back on track

So I'm back at uni slowly regaining my sense of routine and have been recently assigned to a random group (usually with my mates) so apart from my mate Bala this will be an interesting semester as they aren't the strongest in English - thankfully I'm the leader so I'm in control but we will see how it goes....

Woo 5 days till Christmas :) should be good fun seeing family, eating Christmas food and enjoying holidays (the very little have)

A Year Almost Complete

So today I started back at Uni with a free Boost Juice!!! What a great way to start a semester! At Uni today we covered Week 1 – meaning tomorrow will be week 2!! I had my first test today and i will be having another.. tomorrow… this just gives you an idea of what fast tracked really means!

Anywho…

Its not long now till this year will be complete… it will be a year which was full of many things – which will remain unsaid until the time is right to blog (closer to the end of the year). I know this year has been a year of tomorrow, a year in which started with the unexpected and opportunities to only end up as a routine and reality and the beginning of a future.

So that was a quick blog!

The Memory Progression

Ok yes I know I have been a bit slack in terms of blogging but I have been on holidays… they are short so I have been making the most of them to do nothing, chill and relax!!! Once I am back at Uni this will be a lot more constant.

What I want to talk about tonight is the factors, the progression and the power of memory! How memories seem to haunt us like a shadow with a mind of its own, they seem to be triggered by the relativity of the smallest details and they always seem to be present when most unexpected – this is usually due the association of something smaller which is connected to a much larger context.

Usually memory becomes triggered by association – this in most cases can be music, routine, dates, weather or even people. I know for me it is music, routine or time. When these occur i relive the memory in seconds!!!

You will be amazed at what triggers memories (how small something can be) – but also how it effects your emotions and your thoughts. Memories can be happy things, sad things or anything you have experienced in the past.

This is quite a deep topic and i feel i haven't even touched on it!
I kinda have just gone blank but I will reblog more when i remember!!!

Friends

In today's society - what we perceive as friends is rather different to the traditional or more so the generic definition of a friend.

friend - a person you know well and regard with affection and trust

However today's more common definition is as simple as:

friend - a person with whom you are acquainted
friend - an associate who provides cooperation or assistance

See the difference? Let me explain it for you.
If you were to ask a group of people what is a friend to them you would be given a collection of answers… that's because we all have a different idea of what a friend is. It's common at schools today to have hundreds of friends through the association of another or simply because you have met before.

Other friends maybe ones you hang with at school or the ones who tell u what to do or what is cool. These friends are more acquaintances who you do school with and chill at lunch time. They might tell you what to do, they may set the level of cool they may also just be like u or me. But do they know you personally or just as the everyday school kid you show them?

A real friend is someone who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. Someone who is loyal, trustworthy and honest with you in integrity, friendship and companionship. They won't sugar coat the truth but rather be honest with constructive criticism, they would never push Your boundaries or tempt you to be something else.

This is very brief – yet it gets to the point…

Recovering

Hey all, just letting you know I will be back up and blogging more routinely soon – just still recovering from exams and tiredness!

I will post saying what's coming up soon though.

1. Friends
2. Boundaries
3. Other Stuff….

Dunno

Well its now time for my daily blog… however i have yet to think of what to blog about.. I have been so busy studying all day and for the past week.. I am over thinking hahah…

Wait I've got something:

My Children Will Do it Differently

Growing up in the age of technology with the Web almost celebrating birthdays with me I have grown with technology the last 18 years of as much as it has with me. If I look back 12 or so years ago, I remember playing on our Windows 98 System thinking we ruled the world… the internet was run by dial up then WOW…

Now.. today we have iPods the size of matchboxes with touchscreens, we have glasses less 3D televisions being released as we speak and in the future the concept of holographic storage.

All I can say is.. what will my children or the people in the next 20 years be experiencing, growing up with? What we called a CD (Compact Disc) or DVD could be anything.. many think it will be something like a small SD Card… but really we cant comprehend where our technology will go.

The funny thing is (sorry parents) my parents, dad more so… struggle with todays technology and are always reminding me what they had in their day… For me will it come to saying to my child, “son in my day we iPhone’s and iPads” and be given a bunch greezies or blare looks in embarrassment, that we would even mention them…

So tonight's question is:

What do you think will be around in the next 15 years?

Pyramid to Perfection

Hey fellow blogtopians, tonight I probs wont blog as much as I am so tried but it better then nothing!

Ok so I mentioned I would write about the Pyramid to Perfection – which is the model I use to explain to my Drum Students how to succeed in learning their task at hand and perfecting it. So here is the model itself. *Remember this is usually for drums but can be rehashed for whatever!  - this is a basic version

image

Basics: So in this level its where we must learn whatever our task is. We must comprehend what is being asked, or how to apply it. So say we were given a Math Equation to do. First we must fully understand the concept behind it, what it being asked and a background knowledge of the equation.

Learn: Once you have a full understanding of the task (equation), we then need to learn it. For drummers, this means to memorize the beat which is to be learnt. So we need to be able to do the equation (formula), beat or whatever without looking at it.

Emphasise: Now we are ready to take it up a notch! For drummers this would imply adding speed to the beat, revamping it with style and technique and customizing for your own. In terms of the example (equation) this would imply we use it to a set of given questions. So its where we explore it further.

Perfection: After learning the basics, memorizing the task and then emphasising it to the next level by now you should have it imbedded into your mind and have a 100% understanding of how to apply it or play it. Now this wont mean 100% perfect but it will be very solid in terms of correct.

So there you go that's the Pyramid to Success model (brief version).

Don't forget if you have suggestions or want something to blogged about please feel free to email or comment for one.

Perfection may be impossible but we can perfect our best!Chris Furlong

An ironic change….

Before I start this blog, I must say when blogging.. one of my major influences is Music… not so much the lyrics always but more so the way in which it illuminates thoughts and ideas through the simplicity of music (sounds and rhythms).

Irony can be viewed in many ways but most commonly verbally. Someone will state one thing yet mean another. (For those that don't know EG: as soft as concrete – this implies irony as how can concrete be soft?) So what I really want to talk about is how ironic it is that people change…

I’ve known many people over the years, some more then others and one thing which has always intrigued me is their stubbornness to declare they wont change or nothing could change them (who they are, what they do, or what they keep important in their life).

The ironic thing is we all change. Change is part of who we are and what we will become. I’ve changed… from last year, from 5 years and from since i was born. Not just meaning physically or dramatically – i have always been a Christian, I'm known as a “goody tissue” but none of them have changed. What has changed is my view on life, my appreciation of my elders and my maturity in having the common sense to understand the important things in life.

So in terms of my fascination of others is how people go about living their lives – in the mindset nothing will change – they wont change.. they fact is yes they will change.. but how that change will happen and evolve is another question. That's then their choice in what they will mould into…

The sad thing is.. its usually the really good ones which chose to let change take them to the deepest and darkest places…

I’ve seen it happen, I have lost friends over it – that changed me.. but I controlled the change… I allowed it to build me (with the help of The Lord of course).

What I am trying to get at is, we all have things in our life which will prompt change.. some are bigger then others… but how will you control the change?
Will you let it build you and grow you… or will fall into the easy path which shall surely become a burden in your life…

So the ironic thing is: (QUOTE)

The more we deny change, the reality is, change is here to stay.”Chris Furlong

Persistence = Patience and Progress

WOW what a day… 12 hours of study.. it takes so much out of you.. even though your just sitting there for hours long.. writing, reading and formulating that perfect response… whilst trying to memorize it all at once.

So as i mentioned the other night will be blogging about Persistence

Persistence:

Well I figured I would touch on how Persistence = Patience and Progress…
If you want to set out to do something the first thing you should do is speak it out. Acknowledge to yourself what you want to achieve and when by! By doing this you have set your mind into a time frame and mindset of what needs to be done. This will further help you prioritise.

So now that your fixed on what you need to get done.. the next bit is staying at it (Persistence) and the only way to do this is to have Patience! Look at it in the long run.. the end result..  what will be achieved once you are done… and reward yourself when you do!

The work isn't just going to write itself or become randomly completed… it needs to be done by you patiently. So get to it!

Once your chugging away, without your Facebook on refresh every 5 minutes or your phone beeping at you for a new SMS, you should be making progress. If you set break times, (whatever intervals you chose) and stick to them by working until the time… you will be progressive each time.

BAM! You have now patiently persisted in becoming progressive in your set task! Give yourself a pat on the back and now start the next!!!!

Rather Interesting…

Well for the last week as you would know i haven't been blogging but i had been doing my Portfolio the whole time and finally completed after a few 4am mornings hahah!  Therefore over the next few blogs i will being doing them on one of 3 things

1. Influences
2. Persistence
3. Irony

However I must first state that i have had a busy week, I am very tired and (am yawning as I type) so just bare with me over the next few days.

Influences

I have touched on this before and character as well… but it is coming a more common thing in which I notice is an issue and problem to the everyday life of a modern teenager. I mean don't get me wrong we have our influences… its more who or what they are. I can recommend having influences in your life which are going to help you move forward in all that you do – that being your:

Faith: Obviously I write in respect to anyone who reads this, however I am a Christian so when i talk of FAITH i am referring to having that relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Now in terms of an influence, God can be, but we need someone who is walking the walk, talking the talk, walking the talk and talking the walk!  Having a peer or someone close to you who is a friend and experiences your everyday life (and is a Christian) will help you grow as for teenagers usually we look to older people for a Christian influence.

Life: Life is full of many interesting people, celebrities, heroes and and stereotype society trends. When it comes to picking your influences for life you don't want someone who is going to be recommending you party hard and ask questions later, but rather someone who has responsibility in their life and has a thorough understanding of what is “smart” and what is “stupid” in life. In other words… knows what will get you moving forward in life. Stop relying on the MEDIA on all those shows, and what the world portrays as right and wrong.

Career and Education: The best influence for this is someone who has had the experience in working with what you want to do. Someone who is a Christian will increase the bonuses of finding the right career and will help identify the priorities in your life. What career is best for you in terms of your own vision and dreams in God.

These may seem a bit brief, but as I said I am very tired and I am off to bed now!

VERSE:

I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. – Psalm 138:2

True Identity

Its a common trend today that society lives multiple identities in the different environments and locations we company. For instance the common trends of teenage mind is “be who you want how you want at school” but “be who you need to be at home.”

Its rather sad that people regardless of who they are (Christian or Not) that they have to live different lives, just to be noticed. The ironic thing is if you are yourself, you will still be noticed – its just a matter of perception.

Its said that if we were to strip away everything we have, take away all our privileges and all that we own.. all we would have left is our character. The thing is about character is without all those material possessions and bounds over our lives, it will be our character which defines who we really are.

I guess we could call it a new level of integrity. Integrity is the act of doing right and having a moral soundness without having to be commended.
Character should be the same… regardless of where or how you look your character should be shown always. It will define who you are.

Youth these days have this idea that everything will be ok if we sugar coat it, if we keep it covered, if we follow the crowd. But the reality is your just living in self denial… and what will that do.. break you down, build up anger and release a rage which shall result in a consequence or two.

If you were to be yourself, do the right thing and follow your The Lord, all you have to lose is the people who mistreat you. People will love you for who are… not what you show. Cos if you show them something they want to see, when they do see your true self,  they will more likely disown you.

So the moral of the story is…

1. Yes life is tough – but we are all doing it
2. Stop living your life denying who you are and what you believe
3. Find your integrity and independence in God and live life the right way

A Day and Another

Today was rather long… as i spent majority of it collaborating with Uni mates working on our never so ending pile of  assignments. I then had my usual run around with drum lessons and errands and of course cant forget to mention my coffee date with Little Lion followed by a family dinner.

After a few  chats and entertainment with the family plus a stand still arm wrestle with my bro I was back to doing assignments. Had some awesome in jokes and chats with the boys though.

For the record my brother made a statement that in order to pass a subject you may be failing you need to trick your mind that you like it. His analogy for this was (if any of you know the place A Maze'N Things in Phillip Island) that Here the weird and wonderful place is a place where you need to trick your mind into believing these allusions. However if i am correct these allusions are tricking us, not us tricking our minds.

Anywho…

Home Run

Today was a celebration to some sort, as it was the final OOP lecture! However this is also a bad thing as, it means we have less time to do the portfolio and get ready for the EXAM…

Today was also the start of a 2 week study craze. My first exam being on the 13th November (yes a Saturday), means i must put my head down and study home!!

On another note i walked/jogged 3km today after Uni, which is hopefully becoming a new routine. I wish to get more active on my drums again to help keep my adrenaline pumping over the next few weeks.

So looks like i have decided my subjects for Semester 1 next year:

- Business Information Systems Analysis
- Web Development [Introduction]
- Business Data Communications & Networks
- Systems Acquisition And Implementation Management
- New Venture Development

Any question about them please ask!!!

I had church which is always good, i then had lunch with the family and in-laws. After buying a new shirt and shorts i headed home where I took a 2km walk/jog and then collapsed in to a deep sleep for the rest of the afternoon.

I had planned to do some study, but I don't think my body is up to it..
Anyway i feel like I didn't do anything productive… but I reminded by a mate who said yes I have… I have slept and rested which has enabled my body to be ready for the week. That's true.

So that quote is kind of relevant as i enjoyed getting some sleep, taking it slow today/tonight and just recovering as I am still not 100% well.

Verse:

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder. – James 2:19

Halloween is a season where many scary things are showcased. Our fears are exploited as the images of frightful creatures and horror movies come to the front. Evil is depicted as a powerful and unstoppable force. But the Scripture paints a different picture: all of hell trembles before the living God. Not only did Jesus defeat ALL the power of fear at the cross, he gave that same victory to us! To stand in the power of Jesus name is the opportunity given to every believer. Even demons shudder before those who know this!

Failure with a twist!

Today I those tests… One was easy and quite successful while another was rather challenging.. and pretty much turned out to be a flunk.
However (this blog is quick one) I must look at the positives… i may have failed.. but i did fail knowing that i put in my 100%! What more can i ask for. I mean some of us are good at one thing while others are better at other things and also we all got to win some and lose some!
So I will keep my chin up and a smile on my dial and just move on till next time!

Psalms 31:24
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
So all though I failed I can still look to the Lord and give it him.

A Miracle In The Making…

Some of you might know that in the last week I have been a ‘little’ stressed in concern for a test coming up.. which is now tomorrow.

The subject itself I struggle with and i have put in my best.. for study etc., yet i still seem inadequate of achieving a pass.

I have now come to the realisation with the help of a little birdie that i can only do my best, if i fail its not the end of the world… plus (this is the best bit) God has never let me down before so I don't think he will now. All i need to do is pass and there is still time for that!

James 5:13 < Verse for the night as well : )
Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.

So i am going to go to Uni tomorrow finish both my tests (yes i have 2) and do my best and trust in the lord.

--Thinking About The Positives--

Tomorrow:

1. Subway for Breaky
2. Hot Chocolate with Miccas
3. Finishing 2 more tests!
4. Driving to Uni and back

Another…

So it's another beautiful Tuesday, a wonderful day full of freshness and  a sense of joy. I caught the 9.09 train with Miss Paige and then hit it up at Swinburne Library with an ice coffee and a banana. [Blogged @ Swinburne]
It's intriguing watching the busy lives of the people leaving and taking the morning train. If it's not “rush rush rush”, it's “push push push”, as they all make pace for their destination. [Blogged @ Train Station]
Any who today was good in general, but tonight was a little poo!
Apart from watching Chuck with my rents and polishing down a plate of Nachos… i have been studying OOP since the sun has set and yes i have achieved a bit but it all still seems so distant to me…

Tonight's Overall Theme Is: Dealing With Stress
The best way to do this is quote scriptures (sorry if repeats)
Psalms 32:8
The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you”.
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Matt 6:33 (KJV)
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Luke 12:31 (KJV)
But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Psalms 34:15 (KJV)
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
Psalms 32:8 (NLT)
The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life."
Psalms 34:10 (NLT)
Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry. But those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.
Psalms 34:15 (NLT)
The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.
Psalms 34:19 (NLT)
The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to rescue each time.
Psalms 37:4 (NLT)
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your hearts desires.
Psalms 37:5 (NLT)
Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.
Phil 4:6 NKJV
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
Phil 4:7 NKJV
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Mat 6:33 (NKJV)
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Psalm 46:1 (NKJV)
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
Psalm 62:8 (NKJV)
Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.
Phil 4:6-7 (NKJV)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
1 Pet 5:-7 (NKJV)
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Mat 11:28-30 (NKJV)
Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
John 16:33 (NKJV)
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

The Daily Life Of A BIT

For those who unaware of my course his is the low down:
Name: Bachelor of Information Technology Scholarship Program
Meaning: The course is sponsored by several corporate bodies who wish to invest in creating new graduates that will benefit them as a whole. In doing so each student is sponsored a whooping $33,500 scholarship. The course is also 3 years instead of 4 and has 2 years course work and 1 year of IBL (Industry Based Learning). Therefore it is fast tracked and are lucky enough to have more subjects each semester. The stress is ‘fun’ but its worth it.
So in a sentence a BIT student’s life consists of:
1. Eat – Gotta love the privileges and conveniences at Swinburne
2. Study / Homework – Just keeps piling….
3. Sleep – whenever we can find it… lectures, trains and hopefully our beds

Now for my daily Scripture.

Isaiah 40:30-31

30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
       and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the LORD
       will renew their strength.
       They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Such an amazing set of verses. What more can i ask for when it comes to dealing with stress, struggles in life and the tiredness of Uni… (PS i love Uni tho)

There’s Always Tomorrow….

image

Today was one of those days where it all went sweet until the realisation of the amount of homework i have… kicked in…

I had a family do today which was great fun. It went longer then expected but that's ok. It wasn't till i got home my day became “meh”.

Any who there's always tomorrow to cheer me up.

I don't really have much to say due to my lack of sleep and bit of a rough night but what i will do is upload 2 pictures for you.

These have been compiled with the use of books and quotes : ]

Seconds to go…..

snke04j1-a

When it comes to time, we have this built up theory that it is limited, or we have this idea that time dictates what we do. In some sense this is correct. If we watch time it seems to go slower and if we avoid it, it disappears quicker. So what does this have to do with anything? Nothing.. i just felt like wasting your time for the last 30 seconds.

WORK, HOMEWORK & HARDLY WORKING…

So i was at work today.. doing what i do best… doing homework, watching TV Shows along with writing this blog. Today was an exceptionally good day. It was busy, customers were cheery and the whole shop had a new feel about it. If only all Saturdays were this good. My reputation would be even sweeter. But then again I cant complain… I get paid to do my homework.. watch TV Shows and write this blog.

But that's not what my blog is about.
Today lets talk about work as a generalisation. Whether it is working a 40hr week job, a part time/casual worker like myself or if your doing homework for school or University (also like me). The main point I want to get at is…

What drives people to work. Its an interesting topic when you think about it…
A student will work (do homework) as they have been put into school and its what they are entitled to do until they can fend for themselves. Students at University must be self motivated as an individual and push themselves.

Workers (any type) must either provide for their family or themself (earn money to make a living) Or in some cases people just like to work…

What drives you to work/study? (comments?)

Simple yet Solid!

This blog will be quick as i am so tired hahah!

Today started with sun glaring into my eyes as it creep-ed up my window. At first I thought I had slept in but it was really just the realization that summer is nearly here to stay. The fresh smell of the spring glory reminds me of a year ago. sitting in the sun studying all day hahaha what joy...  [blogged this at Glenferie Subway]

One of the most funniest things to do is watch people while listening to music. Its like watching someone walk down the street with theme music hahahh here's Wat u need to do this at it's best.
1. Some up beat \ jumpy music
2. People to watch

From kids, too couples, too adults... they all have their own way about expressing music haha the funny thing is they don't even know it hahaha

Quote: "To move on we must take one step at a time, but to get over something we need to jump in with two feet" Chris Furlong

well I was pondering something (lol surprise, surprise) and obviously it was to do with some sacrifices and choices i have had to make over the past year...
"Ones sacrifice is anothers loss, while ones loss is also their sacrifice" Chris Furlong
Sometimes people don't always come out even, sometimes they do. But i do know one will always come out stronger :)

A Memorable Moment.. A Common Cause and a Trust In The Lord

 Hey World :)

i am so tired.. i've only had 10hrs sleep in last 48hrs...
WOOO

Ok.. so i will admit it...
seeing all these Yr 12 statuses and end of year pictures.. actually makes me smile.. i actually miss it.
i miss the moments in which everything was so stressful yet together collectivity we stuck it out and finished the year with joy and as a team.. a team of students ready to take on whatever the world would throw at us!!!

1 year later here i am... hahah fighting Assignments, tests and soon to be exams... in my final strive to gun it home before the holidays..

Uni is definitely  a different place.. the work is different, the people are different and so is life in general.

Dont get me wrong tho.. cos i absolutely love it hahah i just so tired due to all the work!

so here is my nightly vent/quotable thoughts

Today upon arriving at Richmond station.. the passengers waiting to board the train seemed to be crowding hte platform more then usual...
as i tried to exit the train the people wanting to get one stood (without movement) literally 20cm from the door and in groups of 25

i have to PUSH my way through people and force my shoulders through endless SHOULDER HUGS as i had no choice but to get snugly as i pushed past them...

Wouldnt it make sense if they all worked toegether...?? (they are all thinking and wanting the same thing anyways)
Moved out of the way (made room for exiting passengers)
then coordinately boarded the train?
this would allow them to get on quicker and problem with more passengers and with a bit more safety

Quote: "If people worked as a team for a common cause, an individuals path would be simpler"

Scripture for the night
Phillipians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Ok.. so yes i have been a bit stressed lately.. but i must remember that our God can take control, can provide and can bring peace.. if only we present this very request to the Lord God Almighty..
to long we fight things in our own power.. but we can fix this by using the greater!

I will now leave with a smile as i have committed my test (tomoz) to the Lord :) he will provide

PLEASE NOTE

FEEL FREE TO LEAVE COMMENTS.. dont be shy!

The beginning of an unfourtanate routine

It's beginning....
So this morning i slept in.. I was meant to be up at 6 am however after snoozing my alarm... I fell asleep again n woke up at 6:45am.... I was meant to leave at 7am.. Need I say no more this morning was a rush-full one. I guess what I am trying to say is.... It's that time of the semester where assignments are eating into my nights.. Meaning I get to bed later and I still have to get up just as early...

I think this calls for adrenaline to the max :)

So i managed to pull all strength i had left to make it through the day..
with the excitement of friends and lotz of food i made it through our internal study session :)

When i arrived back in town, i had my weekly coffee date with my sis in law Rose :)
i purchased the big bang theory Season 3 :)

i then had a drum lesson (gave) which was full of procrastination...

i then came home to a dinner ( a nice big steak) yummio :)
and then finished the night with Music practice...

in other words.. it was a big day....

For those who unaware... I have recently upgraded and am now one of the many iPhone 4 users. The phone itself is quite simple to use and offers a straight forward interface. Personally I enjoy it's functions and abilities as it does what in a phone. With a 2gb data plan along with unlimited social networking and sms, what more would a modern teenager of this society want?? The camera is fancy with a quicker reaction time :) let's not forget about that 16 gb internal memory now. Hahah so in a low down it's quick, it's fancy and it's practical :) actually I wrote this blog on this today hahaha.

"Coincidence is not random but rather probability at it's best" - Chris Furlong
Last night my quote about living with consequences ( i posted it on facebook as well)  became a coincidence when at the same time I posted it, someone else who  posted it at the same time with the same source.... Now the middle man who is befriended by me and this unsub saw both posts occur at the same time... What are the chances???  I guess we will never kno hahaha

Verse for the night :)

Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

and a weekly wisdom quote haha
"The dreams of your future have no room for the devastation's of your past."

i guess thats it... BRING ON TOMOZ :)

Get on the Train...

Ok so today was different.
i went out of my regular routine and had went Interviewing at Melbourne Water <-- i will get to this in a moment
Let me just fill ya in on a normal tuesday morning...
Wake up, shower, breaky, drive to train.
My train would usually come at 9:09 as i would meet up with Miss Paige and have a our weekly chats on the trip into the city... however today was different.
i caught the 10:36 train where i met up with my group to interview an IT Manager and graduate at Melbourne Water.

After many questions and a few laughs we had become more understanding of what really goes on at Melbourne Water :)

any who...

I have recently been watching Criminal Minds.. and i must say (due to the episodes being based on actual events) this world of ours is STUFFED UP.
How people can commit and do such crime.. if that's what you would call it... inhumane

"There is not a righteous man on Earth who does what is right and never sins."Ecclesiastes 7:20
 SO true ^^

So.. lets just say i am extremely tired..

so am going to sum up quickly...
"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." Mahatma Ghandi
Now.. in most cases people would interpret this first part as "go do everything and anything you want before you die" hwoever the 2nd part reiterates... the point in saying.. yes do that but "DO IT RESPONSIBLY"
cos if u go make a foolish mistake.. are you wiling to live with the consequences...

i wish i coudl blog more now.. but i must sleep.

Im Out!

I have been monitoring the recent facebook statuses.. and anyone would think Year 12 is coming to an end...

I guess for me this is a realization of taking my past lessons and putting them to practice..! Those lessons being.. pushing forward in the moments of study and homework!! and looking forward to the goals and rewards...

♪ ♬ Music ♪ ♬
:) well it makes me smile most of time :)
actually tonight it has been more in the background.. but it is definitely keeping me motivated :)

Well.. i guess thats me in a day...
apart from the venturous train trips of my week.. or more so daily, not much happened...
only the reiteration of EXAMS are soon.. oh and i need to re-enroll...

mhmmm.. and a as a final note.. i leave you all with this :)

Matthew 6:25-26  25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
