The time of our lives, the very present in which we live in. Can be brought to a single shatter by the click of a fingers. Observation is what sides with this in the relationship in which I call; enjoying the moment. Its not those long, long, nights which we call the bests nights ever, but it is those little details clustered within the night which are what make it real. Which make it remembered, which make it the night of your life.
Next time you have a moment… A moment such as a lunch break, a train trip to the city or a warm fuzzy coffee in the corner shop. Take this moment to observe. To notice the little things. Watch the birds take their time to for some apparent reason sneak and shuffle between the tables of cafes in search for scraps, sweets, crumbs or simply anything which will suffice a morning snack. If you watch long enough you may catch the moment of a seagulls adventure to stumble upon ones sad resort to leave their plate of food behind… Now this is what you call waste! But to Mr Seagull this is all his birthdays at once. Within minutes, within a moment this seagull has polished off some fancy lunch meal consisting of; blushing tomatoes and golden chips. If you hadn't taken the moment to observe the details around you… would you have noticed the busy, yet exciting lives of city street bird?
Next time you have a moment in which you call “being bored” take the moment to look at what is around you. Everyday people are amazed of these abstract and such peculiar pictures people seem to create from their so called photography skills. Yet reality speaks for itself. What you can see with those two eyes of yours so can your lens. Finished a bottle of coke or some bubbly refreshment? Have a look down the bottle? What do you see? Who cares what you see but trust me with this… Take out your camera and snapshot in-side the bottle… Weird… yes indeed it is? But isn't that art? The point here is – we become so focused on rushing to squabble down some coffee scroll and evaporate our drinks like a vacuum gone wild, that we don't see the different things, the odd things, the normal things or even the good things around you.
Next time you have a moment, enjoying the sunshine, walking down the street or even going through the checkout. Take the moment to share the love, to share the excitement in which we can all create in the little minutes we have. Adore the quality weather when it lasts, breathe in the fresh air, let it flow and put that smile on your dial. When you walk through the busy street make an effort to make it easier for the ones around you. Acknowledge them, let them know your happy. Give them a smile and give them the matter of the doubt that today is a good day, so enjoy it! Take a moment to smile to the checkout chick, don't freak her out… but she has been standing there for the last 4 hours… Say hello, give a smile, reassure her that she isn't just some robot item scanning machine, but that helpful person she really is.
In my further fight to make my point clear… take the time to notice the details. The pleasant noise within the air, the simple breeze and the singing birds, the diversity of what we call fashion today, the chance to spread a smile through a scheduled crowd or even noticing the pretty girl who is always smiling at you but you were to busy to notice. The point is… Relax, take your time, and discover what can be created in the moment we call a day, a lunch break, a dash back to work, a coffee break, a minute.
A Moment.
So um, who's this pretty girl you got, hmm? Care to share? Lol. Just messing with ya.
ReplyDeleteLove the blog though. Preach it, brother :)
